Held on the 4th June 2025, North Sheep, proved once again to be the jewel in the crown on the NSA event circuit. Thousands of visitors flocked to the Cumbrian farm to see what New and exciting in the Sheep industry. It was a very well organised event and it was a pleasure to work with the now retired secretary . Rachel Buckle, on her last event. The Swaledales and the Mules mirrored their stands in the large building and welcomed visitors from all over the North of England and from farther afield.

We were delighted to receive 2nd prize in the breed stand award. It was a great team effort and many thanks to Geoff Walker, our new Chairman and to Michael Burnop, our Vice Chairman for all the help they gave from setting up to taking down the stand. Matthew Emmott has recently taken over the role of West Cumbria Branch Chairman and was a great help throughout.
The Sheep were provided by: John English and family from Brown Sleazes, Hexham; Roger Graves, Hesket Demain, Carlsle; Julie and John Brough, Clappers Farm, Wigton.
It is such a lot of work to provide the sheep, from preparation to transport and everybodies time and effort is greatly appreciated.

John Brough from Clappers farm as he drops off the 2 hoggs and lambs at the event.
