North of England Mule Sheep Association
NEMSA
NEMSA – the North of England Mule Sheep Association - remains one of the UK’s biggest sheep breed associations, currently with a membership around the 1,000 mark.
The North of England Mule is a cross-bred sheep sired by the Bluefaced Leicester ram with either a Swaledale or Northumberland type Blackface dam. The Mule ewe remains Britain’s most prolific sheep breed in terms of numbers and is the country’s most popular commercial sheep for crossing purposes.
NEMSA is again delighted to be working with our keynote sponsor Shearwell Data, who continue to offer valued products and services to our members.
