"The Original Mule"
The North of England Mule has earned the right to be called the most popular lowland ewe in Britain, and the original easy care sheep.
Independent surveys have consistently demonstrated her superior profitability on a wide range of systems and land types, with high outputs at lower cost.
When crossed with quality terminal sires she has the unbeatable ability to produce large crops of the quality fat lamb so demanded by today’s markets. Combine this with her great mothering ability, hardiness and general ease of management and it is easy to see why North Of England Mules can be seen throughout lowland Britain.

As many as 200,000 Mule ewe lambs will be available at sales centres throughout the north of England this autumn, including 13 official NEMSA sales.
The producers extend a warm welcome to prospective buyers. NEMSA secretary Marion Hope will be delighted to assist in anyway possible.
